Magic Links for External Reviewers
The easiest way to share a document with a client or external reviewer is via a magic link. This gives them direct access without needing an account.
To generate a magic link:
Open the document
Go to Workflow → Add Reviewer
Enter the reviewer's email address
Copy the generated link and send it
Internal Team Members
Team members who have Writerflow accounts can be added as reviewers from the Workflow panel. They'll receive an email notification and can review directly from their dashboard.
Reviewer Experience
When an external reviewer clicks a magic link, they:
See a welcome banner explaining what they're reviewing
Can read the full document
Can add inline comments by selecting text
Can approve or request changes via the action buttons
No sign-up, no password, no friction.
